Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas. Stretching, Trigger Point Therapy, PNF Stretching, Passive and Assisted movement may be apart of this session. Deep tissue massage may use very firm pressure at times and may not be safe for everyone. Speak to your doctor before having a deep tissue massage if you: have a history of blood clots or a clotting disorder.
